What is Bra in a Box?
Bra in a Box is an innovative bra alternative that consists of two components:
Our one-of-a-kind, patent-pending Box,
A pair of silicone Nipcos
What are Nipcos?
Nipcos are our brand of silicone nipple covers. It’s time to bring this commonsense solution out of the Prom Night shadows and into the mainstream with Bra in a Box.
Why use Bra in a Box?
Bra in a Box’s Nipcos provide the coverage you want with the comfort and freedom of going braless! Our patent-pending box is the only custom box designed to store and transport Nipcos.
How do Nipcos stay on?
There's a thin layer of silicone adhesive on one side of each Nipco, allowing it to adhere to the skin. When combined with your body heat the adhesive forms a bond with your skin, keeping them securely in place. The bonus is ... it feels like nothing! Our co-founder, Phoebe, is a nurse who wears Nipcos throughout her entire 12-hour shift and beyond.
What benefits does Bra in a Box offer?
First and foremost, it eliminates the need for a traditional bra. After falling in love with silicone nipple covers, we quickly discovered that the thin plastic that traditionally comes with the nipple covers is extremely easy to lose, exposing them to dust and debris. The plastic is essentially invisible; once you’ve lost sight of it, it’s gone forever . . . especially when traveling. We custom designed our Box to not only store and transport Nipcos, but to also eliminate the need for that annoying plastic film. Our Box provides a stylish, smart way to get the most out of your Nipcos.
What types of outfits are best suited for Bra in a Box?
Any and all outfits, as long as you feel comfortable and confident. Remember, Nipcos are not just for Prom Night or your Wedding Day. They are for every single day!
How do Classic and Luxe Nipcos differ?
Classic and Luxe Nipcos are both made with silicone but they're manufactured using a different process.
Classic Nipcos are the type of "Nipcos" that we fell in love with and inspired us to create Bra in a Box. They are thicker and spongier than Luxe Nipcos and are made from two thin layers of plastic filled with silicone gel. They also have a small circle in the center of the side that adheres to the skin so that nothing is actually sticking to "the sweet spot".
Luxe Nipcos are manufactured using a process that's a tad more complex. While they are the same size as our Classic Nipcos, they are extremely thin and made from a single layer of premium silicone. They lay flush with the skin and have a smooth skin-like texture, which is an advantage if you're wearing something super tight like a tank top or swimsuit. They do not have the nonsticky circle but it doesn't hurt at all to remove them. We promise!
Can Nipcos be used under a swimsuit or bikini while swimming?
Yes! Nipcos can be worn in water. In fact, they are so comfortable that both of our co-founders have accidentally forgotten to remove them before showering. We know first-hand that water has no impact on Nipcos.
How do I wash Nipcos?
Gently wash Nipcos with soap and water after each use to preserve the adhesive and extend their usage.
How many times can I reuse Nipcos?
Nipcos can be used up 15-20 times with maximal stickiness. We’ve actually worn ours for up to 30 times and that included hot summer days. As the adhesive wears down, the Nipco begins to lift at the edges. This is a sign that you may be ready for a new pair. Bra in a Box offers a Nipco subscription plan so that you always have a new pair on hand when needed.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns of our Box up to 30 days after purchase. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the product, we do not accept Nipco returns. If you return your Box, we will refund the full purchase price although you keep the Nipcos.
How can I cancel or change my Nipco subscription?
Subscription members have the ability to login to their user account and cancel their subscription at any time.
You can also change the frequency you recieve your Nipcos if required.
Could I have an allergic reaction to Nipcos?
Silicone has a well-established profile of being safe when applied to the skin. However, if your skin is highly sensitive, we recommend testing the Nipcos on a less sensitive area of skin first. If irritation occurs, remove the Nipco and gently wash your skin with soap and water. If you have a known allergy to silicone, we recommend that you do not use this product.
